I just recently joined the Women's Peer Network and found this amazing group. What a gift to be able to network with all of you.

I'm learning how powerful it is to connect with other women who are stepping out of their comfort zones and making their mark in the world. So inspirational.

How to enter into the domain of such great women? Well there can only be one way in, at the deep end. Attempting just lately to get some direction in my busy life, I keep coming back to the words of Goethe: "Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has gunius,magic,and power in it. Begin it now". Who can argue with that. Well, I have for years, imagining that the moment was just round the corner, in the next self help book, or in the words of an inspirational speaker. Pat Sutton was that speaker last week . There was nothing in her talk to suggest a furthur period waiting, so here I am girls, ready willing and able begin. Here is a great quote that was on my blog the other day. I've got a "Quote of the Day" widget on there.
"To speed your success, twice a day form a clear mental picture for two minutes of the one thing you want; and tell yourself it's already yours. Imagine it is.”
Unfortunately the widget didn't give the author of this quote, but I still wanted to share it.

Don't know the Plaxo site, but will take a look. Great start to the Inspirational Women networking group, and thanks for the video. Will add some quotes and tips that I've found useful and am also going to invite some new women from my address book. Loved the motivitional video. I get a daily inspirational quote from
www mydailyinsights.com it is a great way to start the day and on a Friday they do a short inspirational story. I also get Jim Rohn's weekly e-zine from www.jimrohn.com a truely inspirational man. My car has become my seat of learning I listen to his cd's as well as Brian Tracy while I am driving. We all lead busy lives so listening to inspirational cd's when you are in a traffic jam is a great use of time. Instead of feeling frustrated I feel motivated.

Hi, I would like to join in the inspirational fun, too. My blog contains a widget with daily changing inspirational quotes, and I also include one or two in my monthly newsletter. I think inspiration is so important in life as in business. It leads to motivation and that is what gets and keeps us going.
And with that, I would like to share one of my favourite quotes:
If you reach for the stars, you'll get to the moon.
If you reach for the moon, you'll get to the sky.
If you reach for the sky, you'll get to the clouds.
If you reach for the clouds, you'll get to the tree.
If you reach for the tree, you'll fall on your bum.
So why not reach for the stars and see how far you can go!
(Unfortunately I don't know who this is by, the last sentence is my addition, that I know).
